#1 – Le Bremner

#2 – Le Serpent

Created with the involvement of Le Club Chasse et Pêche and Michele Mercuri, this old port restaurant is located in the Darling visual arts center. They serve raw and cooked appetizers, pastas, risottos, fish and meats.

They also offer delicious deserts made by Masami Waki, Club Chasse et Pêche and Le Filet’s pastry chef.

#3 – L’Orignal

You won’t miss this amazing old port restaurant with its big wooden doors and the moose head above its doors. You’ll them be prompted downstairs to enter a cozy lodge atmosphere.

#4 – Le Club Chasse et Pêche

Club Chasse et Pêche is one of Montrealer’s favourite old port restaurant. Cooked by Maitre Hubert Marsolais and chef Claude Pelletier, their French culinary refinement remains excellent up to this day.

When you enter, you first have to go down to arrive in a low-ceiling, dimly lit and intimate atmosphere. Each table has its own halogen lantern. Surrounding you are stones and grey walls which make the decor perfect for a date.

#5 – Taverne Gaspar

Located in a 150 year old building, this amazing old port restaurant remains modern. They have an amazing cocktail menu, with a great variety of whiskeys and scotches.

On Thursday, you can get drinks and oysters ($2 each). They serve beef tartare, BBQ Bourbon Bacon cheeseburger, prosciutto wrapped chicken, and much more.
